Cleaning and Maintenance Recommendations

1. We are recommend washing them with hot water and soap when you get your cast iron dutch oven.

2. Dry with a cotton towel or stove dry on medium heat until it just starts to smoke or slightly before.

3. Apply a light coat of vegetable oil and use a paper towel or washcloth to spread the oil as evenly as possible.

4. Pop into a cool oven and preheat and bake upsidedown at 350F for 1 hour.

5. Turning off the oven and leaving the Dutch oven to cool completely.
